Introducing
Who Is Behind Calla Vie Boutique
My story
Calla Vie began during COVID, when being stuck at home gave me time to think about a dream I had always had—owning my own boutique.
I’ve always had a creative mind and a love for business, so I started small, making earrings and custom T-shirts from home. After participating in my first small-business pop-up and actually selling what I had created, I thought, Maybe I really can do this.
I took a chance and rented my first storefront—a tiny 360-square-foot space in an up-and-coming neighborhood. It wasn’t big, but it was mine, and that’s where Calla Vie truly began.
Eventually, I moved the boutique to Southlands Mall in Aurora, Colorado, where I spent three wonderful years growing the business and becoming part of the community. We participated in summer concerts, farmers markets, holiday events, and countless pop-ups while building relationships with customers who became so much more than shoppers.
When my lease ended, I decided to close the storefront—but not Calla Vie.
Today, Calla Vie is online and on the move. I host private shopping events and pop up at markets, businesses, and community events throughout Colorado. I love having the flexibility to take the boutique beyond four walls, meet new people, support other small businesses, and become part of many different communities.
Calla Vie may look a little different today, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed.
Calla Vie means “beautiful life”—and for me, it’s about fashion, confidence, community, connection, and doing something I truly love. ❤️ XX Heather
